Lay this
Vinyl / LVP / SPC, or porcelain tile
- Vinyl is waterproof, so it is great on preventing the growth of mold and mildew that can cause staining and foul odor.
- SPC has a core of crushed limestone and polymer, one of the strongest waterproof floors in today's market.
- Porcelain tile is denser than ceramic and slightly more water resistant, because it is forged at a higher temperature.
Think twice: Hardwood and engineered hardwood. Avoid installing them in wet areas such as your kitchen and bathroom.
