The material choices are close to limitless. Subway and herringbone patterns, glass, and many types of stone and marble can all go behind a range or a sink.

Our own kitchens show the spread. One remodel pairs a tumbled-stone diagonal backsplash with sage-green painted cabinets and granite. Another trades a torn-off tile wall for teal glass subway tile. A third swaps a brick-look wall for white herringbone.

Out with the old wall, in with the new one

Backsplash work often begins with demolition. In one of our before pictures the old tile has been torn off the wall, and in another a brick-look wall is replaced altogether, so the new tile starts on a clean surface.

When the crew finishes, our installers clean up and remove all trash, and the installation carries our 1-year warranty.
